About how the arts are made
Color
As a first step, we randomly pick the color combinations we like from both sources; Adobe Color and Color Hunt (or maybe you want to help us with some color combinations of yours? We’ll appreciate it!).
You can also look for color combinations there if you are confused about coloring your work. But, maybe Adobe Color is more suitable if you need to take color combinations from the images you have and it will provide color combinations from the images you put on.
Tools
We created each of the Hipster Cats manually (hopefully everyday) using Adobe Illustrator. We haven’t been able to use coding technology to generate layers that give us to many variations of arts. Even though we did it manually, we really enjoyed going through the process (really!).
Idea
Starting from what kind of cat and how we wanted to show it, also seeing our current ability to create arts. We finally decided to take the shape of a cat from the photos above that we found on Pexels. Yes, just the head and the two tiny paws are the main parts for us to use as a form of Hipster Cat’s art.
As we have written before, seeing our current ability to create arts that are arguably not yet capable of making artworks with a realistic type or with a lot of decorations. We finally decide to make an art with a flat design type like the example in the picture above.
Yes, (sorry if) we don’t really follow the current trend of NFT’s Project out there like the Pixel one or the Realist one. We’ll use the flat and clean design types for this Hispter Cat’s project.
To form the two parts of the cat that we defined earlier; the head and its two tiny paws. We took the shape of a triangle and a circle that being readjusted. Where we use the triangluar shape as the basis to form the cat’s ears and the circle shape as the basis for forming the cat’s head, forelegs and nose.
